Is The Color Run a charity or a non-profit organization?

The Color Run is neither a charity nor a non-profit organization. The Color Run, LLC is a for profit event management company and our number one goal is to produce high-quality events.

Do you help a charity or cause?

Yes, we do. The Color Run  works with hundreds of local organizations in various cities they host events in. The Color Runs number one goal, as it relates to local charities, is to increase cause awareness. We want to help shine a light on important issues. We hope our Color Runners will spend time on the website of our partner charities, join mailing lists, attend other events hosted by the charity and become an advocate for these causes.We give our charity partners a microphone to speak to thousands of good hearted people.

Do you also donate money to charity?

The Color Run has donated more than $3million to charity since their founding in 2012.

Post Race Donation.  This is where we make a financial donation to our charity partner. This set amount is determined in communication with the charity and depends on the level of involvement provided by the charity.

Cool Kids Campaign:

Wow might be the only word to summarize the experience Cool Kids Campaign had as the charity partner for The Color Run in Baltimore. What a perfect match for us. Our programs are focused on making life better for kids with cancer and the Color Run is ALL about being positive and happy. They included our cancer families in every part of the day and lived up to their promise of the happiest 5K on the planet. On the way home one of our 9-year-old cancer patients said, That was one of the best days of my life. Pretty much says it all.

Boys & Girls Clubs- Alaska:

Boys & Girls Clubs Alaska was proud to be a charity partner for The Color Run Anchorage in 2013. There were so many positives related to our involvement. For example, many of our staff and our good friends in the community volunteered. Over and over, we have heard comments like, that was the best volunteer experience ever,and that was so much fun! For our staff, volunteering at The Color Run was a huge morale booster and team building experience. As a group of people that work with children all day we appreciated that this event could move adults (whether running or volunteering) to laugh and play like children.The value of building positive public awareness is of utmost importance to the success of any non-profit, including Boys & Girls Club. We are thrilled with the media attention and increased public awareness we received as a partner to The Color Run!
